Without TOSF Zambian staff on the ground, it would be difficult to imagine how the founders who are non Zambians living in Singapore and France, could possibly run their operations productively. The staff are employed in accordance to the Zambian labor laws.
Our teachers were once OVC themselves who understand the precarious conditions and struggles of our students. TOSF has equipped every teacher with at least a Teaching Diploma from MOE certified institutions. Each teacher visits his/her student’s home to access the vulnerability of each child so that TOSF can serve each child better.
Since 2015 our curriculum is based on Education in Human Values (EHV), a UNESCO endorsed program. Our EHV trained teachers put back character development and values into education, creating morally balanced individuals in society. This values based foundation is vital for our students who come from rudderless, penurious environments.
